Advisory · Health plans, TPAs & benefits companies

Your systems grew in patches. Now the work lives in the gaps.

Arkiplanner helps benefits organizations connect sales and operations: an independent evaluation first, then a phased plan they can afford.

Sound familiar?

The problem usually shows up as manual work.

01 · Sales / CRM

Deals live in spreadsheets

Where it breaks

Sales and account management track pipeline by hand while operations runs somewhere else.

02 · Operations

Manual work fills the gaps

Where it breaks

Eligibility, claims and billing don't line up, so reports and financials won't reconcile, and they're never off by the same amount.

03 · Software

Software renews. Adoption doesn’t.

Where it breaks

You are paying for platforms nobody can clearly say are being used well.

04 · Advice

Every recommendation gets expensive

Where it breaks

Platform vendors recommend their platform. Large firms recommend transformations sized for a different budget.

05 · Growth

A trigger exposes the gaps

Where it breaks

A self-funded launch, growth, new leadership or a carrier relationship puts pressure on the systems.

06 · Ownership

Nobody owns the space between

Where it breaks

Sales sees pipeline. Operations sees process. IT sees systems. The break often sits between them.

The difference

Start with an independent answer.

Arkiplanner is paid to evaluate the problem whether or not anything gets built. That changes the incentive. Four things that usually come with a recommendation are off the table:

01 · The recommendation

No platform to push

The recommendation does not depend on selling you software.

02 · What you own

No automatic rip-out

We keep what works and migrate only when it’s holding you back.

03 · The commitment

No giant first commitment

The work is phased. Each decision can stand on its own.

04 · The team

No junior handoff

One senior lead remains accountable, with specialists brought in where the build requires them.

Who it is for

Built for benefits organizations running lean.

01 · Administrators

TPAs and administrators

Especially labor and self-funded administrators with manual operations and limited internal technology capacity.

02 · Plans

Health plans

Plans launching or growing self-funded business and needing sales, account management and operations to connect.

03 · Benefits companies

Benefits companies

Administrators, reinsurers, distributors, voluntary benefits and self-funded programs that need a stronger operating and go-to-market foundation.

The path

Start with the smallest useful step.

Every Advisory engagement begins with an evaluation. Continue only when the next phase makes sense.

01 · Start here

Evaluate

Focused evaluation for one team/system, or a broader technology snapshot. Interviews, current-state map, tools, gaps and phased recommendations.

02 · Optional

Blueprint

Target process, CRM and systems design, integrations, data map, vendor options and estimated costs.

03 · Optional

Build

Arkiplanner scopes the work, brings in the needed specialists and manages delivery, testing and launch, keeping it simple for the people who use it. The complexity stays behind the scenes.

04 · Optional

Support

A defined monthly block for system updates, reporting, vendor management and what comes next.

Every step is a fixed fee, scoped after a first call. Stop after any step and keep everything we made.

Recent engagements

A few recent projects, by the numbers.

Each figure describes one engagement, not the whole body of work. Benefits clients every year since 2021.

One operations audit
6 weeks
12 partners and 17 stakeholders interviewed, then a current-state map and phased recommendations.
One CRM blueprint
15 stages
Two pipelines, designed to keep health data out of sales tools.
One organization design
33 roles
The structure for a benefits administration startup.
One operations audit
~35 calls
Findings drawn from recorded calls, turned into a CRM rollout plan.
Questions

The honest answers, up front.

Will you tell us to replace everything?

Usually not. We keep what works and migrate only when it’s holding you back. The first question is what you already have and what is actually being used.

Can a small firm handle this?

The engagement is led by one senior person and deliberately phased. Specialists are added for operations, development or implementation when the plan calls for them.

Do you build it too?

If you want us to. The evaluation and blueprint stand alone; implementation is a separate decision.

What does it cost?

Every engagement is scoped as a fixed fee after a first call. If the budget is constrained, the answer is a smaller useful phase, not a lower standard.

How do you handle health data?

We work from de-identified data first. When protected health information can’t be avoided, we sign a business associate agreement before we see it.

Before you buy another platform, understand the problem.

Tell us what is happening today. We will tell you what we think the first useful step is.
